Changes regarding assistance and registration in case of an accident
By means of this joint statement, the following insurance companies, Citizens, Ennia, Guardian Group Fatum, Massy United Insurance, and New India Assurance would like to report that:
- The Traffic Department of the Police has decided that as of March 1, 2016, the insurance companies themselves can register the traffic accidents for their clients, that do not involve injured people or violations committed against the law (e.g.. driving under influence, without a driver’s license, without car insurance).
- Citizens, Ennia, Guardian Group Fatum, Massy United Insurance, and New India Assurance emphasize that it is very important that registration of all traffic accidents of their clients be centralized and that this should be done exclusively through ForenSys Aruba by calling 165.
- ForenSys is an impartial company with more than 20 years of experience and it is not affiliated with any insurance company.
- It provides service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- The staff at ForenSys Aruba are constantly trained and have proper knowledge to register all traffic accidents and incidents in Aruba. Because of their broad experience in this field, the parties involved can count on integrity, professionalism and trustworthiness.
- Every piece of information gathered by each unit of ForenSys that has assisted at the scene of an accident shall be provided swiftly to the insurance companies of the clients who are involved in the accident.
The great advantage is that Citizens, Ennia, Guardian Group Fatum, Massy United Insurance, and New India Assurance will receive information quickly and they will be able to view this information with a protected and confidential centralized system.
Working together in good collaboration will help to set up a database with valuable information, that can benefit all the policyholders, traffic police and the government of Aruba. Creating a more responsible community can lead to a safe traffic for everyone.
Finally, Citizens, Ennia, Guardian Group Fatum, Massy United Insurance, and New India Assurance would like to ask all their policyholders to call ForenSys Aruba at 165 in case of an accident, in order to duly register all information.
